So much to do... so little time...

Hey Ya'll! Long time, no update from me.

I've been SO busy with the house and the wedding and the baby and everything else going on that I just haven't had time for anything else, I'm lucky to get a shower every day or 2, lol.

I had a wonderful wedding shower, not many people were there, but those that were had a lot of fun, I think... I know I did.

So, the wedding is this Saturday! It's Monday now... so like 5 days! I'm really excited, not only excited to be getting married, but also excited to see a lot of my family and friends that I haven't seen in a long time... and excited for everyone to meet Kieren & Philip, and excited to meet the rest of his family and his best friends from Boise, Idaho.

I think we sign the papers to close on the house either Thursday or Monday... either way, I can't wait! It will be nice to get moved out of here and into our new house and get settled in, because there are tons of boxes all over this tiny little house and everything is a mess.

Philip's work had a company picnic on Saturday at the Elenor city park. We had a lot of fun at that, we played Bingo and won a kitchen spoon/spatula set, huge box of play-dough, and a crayon/marker set thing... the food was really good, it was catered, but everyone brought deserts. The park had a pool, so we all went swimming. I love to swim, so that was great... but as we were leaving the pool, I got stung by a wasp and I had to pick the stinger out.

I knew I was allergic to bees, but I didn't know wasps were the same thing... so I didn't use my epi pen. I took some benadryl though cos it was itchy, and put some ice on it... and it was fine for the rest of the day, but Saturday night I couldn't sleep at all, and my whole body hurt like I had the flu and I had a fever...

When I got up on Sunday morning, my arm was HUGE and red and I still felt achy and nauseous... so I took some benadryl again and me and Philip and Kieren went to church with his parents and I still felt really bad, so we went back to his mom and dad's house and I took a Tylenol PM and went to sleep from 1:00 till 6:00 then we went to his aunt's house because she invited us over to look at some stuff for the cake and to swim... and I got REALLY sick there and I thought I was going to die cos I was shaking and stuff... so we went to the Health Plus in St. Albans and they gave me some medicine and informed me that I am very allergic to wasps and bees and they are the same thing.

Lol, but I'm feeling better now... I'm still itchy, but all of the other symptoms are gone, so YAY :) I'm just worried about the medicine they gave me... it's a steroid that I have to take 3 times a day for like 6 days and steroids make you eat tons, so I have to resist the urge or I won't fit into my dress, lol.

As for Kieren... we went to the doctor and she's a little over 17 lbs. now... which puts her in the 95th % for babies her age... meaning only like 5% of babies her age are bigger than her, lol. She is finally starting to roll over... she can do it half way... but she hates to be on her stomach... she LOVES to stand up, especially on someone's lap, but the bouncer in the doorway is just as good to her. She also LOVES to sit up... she HATES to lay down now... even for a second. She LOVES to eat... formula, babyfood, cereal, anything. The doctor said that since she was so big already and wanting to eat constantly that it was okay to start her on some solids... she LOVES fruit and HATES vegetables, lol... green beans aren't too bad though... but she screams at sweet potatoes. She LOVES this small Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal attached to a blanket that someone got her for the shower... and she LOVES to stick her tounge out and squeal, lol. I'll post some pictures of her at the end of this post.

Anyway, it's time for lunch, (I know I said I wasn't going to eat tons like 2 seconds ago... but it's lunch time, lol). Kieren and I are going to have lunch with mom... see everyone Saturday :)

Love ya!

Better a late update than a never update

So...
I went to the doctor today and I still don't know anything about my delivery date. He said that we will schedule it and everything next week... so I guess I'm waiting again. I hope that Melea can still come down when I have the baby. I know Illinois is far away, like 6 hours, and a week isn't really much notice to come down, but it's the best I can do... it would be really nice if all of my friends could be there with me.

I bought the new Harry Potter movie today... I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I probably will make time later tonight. For now, I'm going to go have dinner with Philip and some of his friends.

Here are a couple new pictures of Kieren's room (and mine). I got some really cute wooden letters at Wal Mart today, they spell out Kieren. I'm going to paint them yellow, pink, and green and put them on the wall above the crib.

That's all I've got for now...
Just a little disappointed about my doctors appointment.
